Carlo Crocco, an Italian changed watch standards in 1980 when he created a solid gold Hublot fitted with the first black strap in natural rubber. A phenomenon was instantly born. When watch industry mastermind Jean Claude Biver attached himself to the firm in 2004 a phenomena was born.
